PROBUS is a group of retired and semi-retired individuals who enjoy keeping mentally, physically and socially active by participating in a variety of activities. We connect at nearby locations, participate in activities, develop friendships, have fun, and stay connected.

As with all PROBUS groups, we are non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit and non-fundraising. There is an elected management committee who keeps things organized but it is the members who shape the direction of the club through their advice and participation.

In Probus you’ll find a wealth of new experiences and a much expanded social network. The opportunities abound in each club with awesome guest speakers, a broad range of interesting activities and social events, stimulating conversation and the chance to explore your community, Canada and the world with new friends.

The PROBUS Club of Presqu’ile was formed in the Summer of 2014. Some of our most popular activities and events include book clubs, dining, discussions, walking and hiking, golf, movies, music group, writing and more.

Current membership is 200 members (max. 200).
